These Easter gifts for kids are thoughtful and simple Easter basket ideas that your child will love!

Is anyone else still out there trying to find the perfect Easter gifts for kids? With all that is going on in the world, I think we need everything to celebrate these days, even if it’s as simple as an Easter basket with art supplies!

I love making my kids’ Easter baskets, and this year will be no different. But with so many ideas out there for Easter gifts for kids, it can be overwhelming.

Easter gift ideas

When it comes to Easter gifts for the kids, I try to keep things intentional and interactive. For my daughter’s first Easter basket, the “Easter Bunny” got her an electric toothbrush and some fruit gummies. I may have gone a bit overboard with the practicality of that gift. Either way, she loved it.

Leading up to Sunday, I have some fun Easter activities that we will do as a family. We will be decorating Easter eggs, making some decorations for the house, and as always we love to make empty tomb rolls.

I know kids just want to feel loved on a holiday, and it isn’t really about the Easter basket or gifts for that matter, but they are a fun way to celebrate Easter, and I think all kids need a little extra love this year.

Easter Gifts for Kids

I did find some great Easter gifts for kids on Amazon, and they are perfect for each of their ages. Plus, I don’t have to leave the house to go shopping! It’s a win-win! I normally end up spending way too much money on things that they aren’t actually going to use, so this year I put a lot of thought into it, and I hope it helps you as well.

Easter Gifts for Toddlers

When buying Easter gifts for your toddler, think about things that they can use their senses with or practical things like their first sippy cup or a pair of flip-flops for the summer. I know toddlers love to use their imagination, and Fisher-Price Little People are always a hit!

Bath Crayons

A perfect way for your little one to make a masterpiece without worrying about the mess!

Sippy Tumbler Cups

These cups look like big kid cups to your toddler but help keep the mess to a minimum!

Summer Flip-Flops or Sandals

A practical yet perfect gift for those sweet little feet!

The Tale of Peter Rabbit Board Book

Introduce your toddler to the classic story of Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail and Peter in this version that is perfect for toddlers!

Fisher-Price Little People

Fisher-Price Little People are perfect for little hands and sturdy enough to stand up to the wear and tear of busy toddlers. You can see all the different sets here.

Easter Gifts for Preschoolers

There are so many Easter gift ideas for preschoolers; the list could go on and on. But here are some of my absolute favorites!

Magnet Tiles

In my preschool classroom, the #1 thing that all my kids loved was magnet tiles.  They create hours of play!

Play-Doh

Although Play-Doh can get messy in our house, it’s always fun to get as a gift, and maybe for once, we don’t mind the mess. You can see all the different sets here.

Puzzles

Puzzles are a hit with preschoolers, and one of our favorites is the color wheel puzzle. It’s a great way to teach your kiddos about colors while using their fine motor skills. If your child loves puzzles, here are some Melissa and Doug puzzles too.

Bubble Maker

As always, you can’t go wrong with bubbles–truly a preschooler can never have too much bubble play! See all the different types of bubbles that your little one might love!

First Bible

For the perfect faith-based gift, you can’t go wrong with giving your child their very own Bible for Easter. Here are two of our favorites!

Easter Gift Ideas for Kids

These Easter gifts are great for elementary age kids!

Kites

No matter what age your kid is, kites are always a great idea! They are so fun to do as a family in the spring!

Sleeping Queens

This card game is pure fun and a great way to connect more with your child! Or you can take a peek at our 20+ best family games to see which game your child would love the most!

Mad Libs

If you haven’t done a Mad Lib with your kids yet, you gotta grab one for pure entertainment!

Beach Towel

With summer around the corner, a new beach towel is a great Easter gift!

Action Bible

If your child has enjoyed one of the first Bibles and is ready for the next step, the Action Bible is a comic style version of the Bible that kids love reading.

These are just a few Easter gift ideas for kids that I hope help get you started putting together some amazing Easter baskets for your children. I hope you and your family have a very Happy Easter!
