I am always looking for snacks that my children and I both love. These healthy fudgsicles are perfect because the kids feel like it’s a treat, and I know it’s not going to have them bouncing off the walls or going through a sugar crash right after we eat them. Plus, it’s just 3 ingredients!
Not only are they delicious, but we’re trading out the sugar for protein. High-fives all around!
We’ve been experimenting with Greek yogurt snacks lately, and they have been an absolute hit! Dont’ get me wrong. My kids are not so in love with Greek yogurt by itself. It was just sitting there in the back of my refrigerator, lonely and neglected. So we’ve gotten creative. At first, it was out of necessity because I didn’t want the yogurt to go to waste. But since my kids are loving all of the frozen treats we’ve concocted, we’re on a mission to make a ton more.
These popsicles are perfect for a snack or something to cool you down on a hot day.
If you are looking for a popsicle mold, I ran across this set on Amazon, which has amazing ratings! If you’ve never made popsicles before, the key is to run it under water just before taking them out. Another way that we love to freeze popsicles is to make them in ice cube containers with a popsicle stick. Just let them solidify a little bit before adding the stick. Or you can skip the sticks all together and use the shaped ice cube trays from the dollar store or IKEA.
